Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. Same call the next day!.

This number keeps calling me to ask for a previous owner. Every time they call they say they have never called before. I have asked to be removed from their list but they refuse and their call operators are very rude. Has anyone else had a similar thing from this number and do you know which company they are from?

THIS IS WHEN ANNA (LIKELY TO BE A FALSE NAME) BECAME REALLY RUDE. THEY ARE A DISGRACE.

Fraud: Pretends to be from HSBC Bank sending a text that someone has been authorised to receive a payment from your account. However HSBC Bank (if you have an account with them) don't give out their numbers when they call or text their customers. Also HSBC don't use this form of security check ( text warnings to set up a new payment from your a/c). The objective is probably to defraud you of your money by gaining access to your bank account - or to use the link in the message to instigate a virus infection.

Asked for Mrs XXX, based on name in phonebook. Mrs XXX doesn t exist as I, Mr XXX s wife, have never used his surname and we ve used this number for 18 years. Claimed to be from a local building firm calling about our roof. We live in a block of flats. When I challenged caller about our number being registered with TPS he got angry and eventually hung up.

08452868745 called my landline at 11:41 on 22 July 2015 claiming to be from I-talk saying his name was Lee and he needed to set-up my free calls which should have been done. I said we are with BT. Fraud - Do not answer to this number!!! They say there you are being investigated for tax evasion and there is a warrant out for your arrest and to press 1 if you don't want to be arrested. I fell for this scam from a different number before and they try push you to pay them the money you supposedly owe them. These people are NOT Inland Revenue- They are scammers!! We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.
If you get told to call this number to speak to Verve Media, you actually need to speak to Verso Group. on the website www.verve-media.com it says to call 01582 763 090. I called and got myself removed
