Received a call today from 01942538691 which is actually a legitimate number from Brook Farm Cattery in Wigan. Only problem is the people who phoned me were Indian speaking and said they were from UK Benefits, PHYSHING for information in pretense of dong a survey, the information of which they then sell on to other companies and you end up getting bombarded with other unwanted calls.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. The person at this number asked for my wife by name and was asking if she was doing ok after her auto accident (which we know nothing about and haven't had). He identified himself as representing "Motor Assist". If you phone the number, it automatically goes to an automated message claiming to be "Motor Assist" and asks you to leave a message.
