Phoned a few times over the past weeks, never left a message on the answerphone, so I took it as not important.

no messages left but when I fone back I get a message saying the person at ext 1010 is unavailable & their voice mail can t take anymore messages = suspicious to me now blocked. the message doesn t even give a company name !?!?!

Claimed to be able to stop the marketing calls I was receiving, knew my name, number and address? Said payment by direct debit, and then hung up?

This Asian prat, after asking me my name said in a thick Paki accent. "I have not rung to tell you anything" So I said in that case **** Off and put the phone down. But I was right; this cretin is from Londonistan where 4 out of five residents are from foreign descent. I know of no one in London so why ring me if it s not to try and con money out of me. Addressed me by full name also. Local country code and evening call, but sounded like a big call centre in background. Asked about industrial hearing injuries.

Not on my phone list so I went to this site to see if it was dodgy,it is!!!.....

This company told me they were the British bred it council and for £299 they would clean my bad credit score.... there sister company loan partners had already scammed me for £300.

Genuine call from Halifax fraud prevention. They noticed someone in USA somehow used my card for a very small amount £4.24 (apparently they do this to see if it s accepted) They have cancelled my card and are sending a new one straight away. Excellent service from Halifax

I Reported this number to talktalk. , they are scammers. And got abusive when I told them police were involved.

More calls today from numerous unknown numbers. Added this one to my blocked list. Extremely annoying!

This company has called me every 3 hours for the last fortnight. I have told them that I do not want a quote for home insurance & have asked them to remove my number from their database. The calls however are continuing & will remain unanswered.

Missed call. Didnt even get a chance to answer. Attempted to return call and it states that the number is not in use.

Three possibilities : they bought the number for their business from a telecoms provider, they hijacked it from a genuine user, or they spoofed it.

Microsoft ringing me about my computer. A scam..... when I asked them to cut to the chase and describe to me what was the exact scam they were trying to drop on me, they rang off. Strange....LOL
