Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. They now have a new number - 0800 4 11 88 99. Like many others I took out 3 years cover on a machine I no longer have. Tried cancelling over the phone but was informed I had to write in to obtain a refund. Did that a week ago but no confirmation of received so I tried phoning several times this morning but after seven minutes a voice says "Goodbye" and the call terminates. Judging from the ringing it is on a hunt group but nobody picks up. Looks like CAB is the next stop.

Missed the call so called back. Indian accented person picked up as HMRC but cut call when I started asking questions.
