I was hard at work concentrating on what I was doing when interrupted by this number calling me. I did not answer. When I investigated later Google associated it with Fed-Ex tracking service. Puzzled, I called it back, only to get a recorded message saying it was a research agency. Placed an order on AO.com and received a call from this number within 10 mins. When I answered the caller (automated I assume) just hung up - so I assume this is an extended warranty type of call as others have mentioned. Will happily ignore any other calls from this number - glad I found this website, very useful.

This number seems to be used for a general call centre of a general purpose, they profit on marketing of any goods or services. Better refuse to answer - it should be also a silent call (testing itf the number is answering). In most cases it is reported as an Indian call centre :)...
I thought this might be an unsolicited call but it turned out to be a perfectly legitimate reminder from the place where I bought my car that it was due for a service.
