The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Very aggressive scam caller pretending to be from BT reporting a virus on our PC and wanting us to follow their instructions online to fix it. Clearly a scam but became very threatening when we wouldn’t do what they wanted us to. Phoned back several times and left aggressive messages on answer phone.

Just received a call from this number and an Asian sounding guy told me I had overpaid on my loan and could claim compensation (I ve never had a loan) when i told him this and asked to be removed from their calling list I was told to "f### off". Not a happy bunny.

I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.
It's a Madingly number, I don't know anyone from this area. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognise, I just let them go to the answering machine ...

When I answered there was a short delay then obviously a busy call centre with numnerous conversations taking place. The caller had a very strong Indian accent and it was impossible to understand what she was saying, not helped by the background noise. Typical of many other scam phone calls. I left the phone on but ignored the conversation until the caller closed the line.

Exactly as the Anon below. Have called every day this week asked to confirm business owner s name and if they could speak to them. When I asked what it was regarding he said he was from Blacks Brokers and it was about a letter they had sent him. No letters have been sent I open the mail. Scam artists.

First call. I can t find them on companies house. Was a survey about a recent RTA then they can close my claim down. He was adiment it wasn t a nuisance call. I asked him who my insurer was. He couldn t answer funny how he was calling on behalf of them. Terminated the call and is now on my block list.
