Cold called me today asking if I was the homeowner and saying they are a solarpanel company. They hung up on me when they reliased I wasn't interested.
Automated SCAM call apparently from HMRC for tax evasion and to press 1 to connect to an agent. Don't fall for this SCAM.
Caller said they were from Microsoft and had noticed problems with my computer. I told him I thought it was a scam call and blocked that number.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based, Indian company masking the no to a local city!!

I too have solar panels and I have had eight calls in the last week from a Chelmsford number. Its as good as a scam, pretending to have discount vouchers for work on your house to be more eco friendly. Very persistent and don't take no for an answer.

The number 0731519223 rang me at 6.30pm Australian time & the caller used some very nasty language ie "You are nothing but a f-----g c--t" over & over numerous times. This s not acceptable in this day & age. I am male & I am so glad my wife didn't answer the phone & be subjected to such filth.

This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! These are computer generated calls sniffing out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else, then the line will be logged as 'a VOICE LINE' and you'll be called back later by some con-artist! If your phone rings and you don't recognize the number calling you, DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anything & the line goes dead then you've just successfully escaped being scammed!
