This number has called me a few times, when I answer, nobody speaks ( most annoying ) if it is a reliable company that would not happen. I rang the number back only to be told that the number is not available.

DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER Fraud call. Pretending to be BT with a fault in the internet. I happen to have a fault so nearly fell for it, tried to get me to download a programme which would have infected my computer and obtained bank details. Have informed BT the callers were rude and offensive when I questioned their activity.

Claimed our website has errors and asked to speak to someone in charge so I demanded details which she couldn t give, I kept her on the phone for a while (I was bored so thought I d wind her up a bit) told her not call again.

Said that because they’d refunded an overpayment that my account may show in arrears and I may receive an automated letter due to this error. They will remove it but wanted to let me know that they may not be able to stop the letter. If they’re making this many calls for this reason they should probably just have sent an email to everyone!

Had a call from this number this morning. Man with strong accent asked for me by name. I put the phone down.

Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.

This is a highly trained telemarketing sales scam whereby they try to convince you about the coloured diamond market - this is not for the novice investor - they source it sell it - recommend dealers - recommend retailers - show you how its worth 4 times the value when it retails bla bla bla and then sell it for you. Guaranteed if it was so good they would buy them all themselves but what they really want is to make sales targets which in turn make them and their bosses very rich - oh and you the punter ver

Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. When pressed repeatedly about the department she put the phone down. Shame, I was just getting warmed up.
