I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.

Number shown was a 01189 local number so i picked it up. No answer and the it hung up. Dialed 01471 to retieve number but, it actually was 018731006? meaning this was a scam caller.

Safe number Banking I contacted Barclays Help/Customer Service to confirm if this SMS text message was from them and they confirmed it was, I was sceptical, as the others were that posted their comments that this was a genuine text from them.

I've put this as a Missed call but i didnt actually answer phone, i just let it ring as i didnt know who this was from and didnt actually recognise number, I'm very wary these days ,as there's too many scams goin around so i typed this number into google to see what came up it lead me here where it seemed to have a negative rating , so i will block in my Phone along with many others over the yrs .

I received a phone from a person called Kevin representing Windows technical support from phone number 02045009692. He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. Just hang up as there is no identification to suggest they are real and there are no confirmed names or card details to ensure it is you or your card. All very open to you giving them more information should you decide to press any buttons and engage with them!

This number tried to call me twice. I don’t know who they are. I did not answer the first time, the second time I made my boyfriend answer and they hung up on him as soon as he said hello. I then messaged them saying “who is this?” They responded at midnight saying “He’ll be there in the morning to meet you, code on the gate is the same. Get to bed!” I blocked their number as soon as they sent that message. It has really freaked me out and I’m scared that someone is going to come to my house.
