Very insisting caller saying I was interested in buying Bitcoin and annoyingly kept insisting if I had bought coin or if I knew what Bitcoin was, after I repeatedly said I was not interested. It appeared to be from a call centre spamming people offering bitcoin.

SCAM Text from this number pretending to be from Royal Mail asking for payment. It is a Scam as checked Royal Mail Website.
Said she was conducting a survey for Herts council. Told her I was registered with Telephone preference and she had no idea what I was talking about. Then I hung up but will advise my council that their ‘survey’ is an unwelcome and unnecessary waste of money.

A number of calls asking for Head of finance by name, won t say why, very abrupt/abrasive manner - I give them our head office number (which will take them ages to get through!)
SCAM - sent text message containing link to a website purporting to allow registration for COVID-19 vaccination. Requests personal details including name, address, DOB and NI number.
Called "on behalf of a third party" about an accident they said I had been involved in. Total nonsense. Would not give name or tell me how they had received my details. Beware, this is a scam.

Got this call today so looked it up on this site. One thing though - if it s clear pretty quickly that it s a cold caller that you don t want to speak to, just say "no" and put the phone down. No need for a polite conversation. No need for "no thank you very much". Just put the phone down. They are being extremely rude by intruding into your day so you allowed to be rude back by just hanging up straight away. Much easier for you.
i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. Called saying i had two transactions against my visa card they believed were suspicious. One from amazon for a small amount and another for someone else for over 1k. asked me to press some buttons to agree or query these transactions, not a chance thanks.
Call center, Took a while to answer after I picked up, then unintelligible Indian gentleman, apparently called Sam from a company whose name I could not catch, doing something I could not catch (despite asking 'Sam' to repeat himself.

Received automated call after attempting to make a payment with my card which was refused. Automated voicemail left this number to call. This number is for the Fraud line call centre in Sunderland. I was wary at first about giving details and voiced this but service advisor said if worried not legit to call number on the back of my card and will be put through to them (not pressured into giving any security info at all).
