SCAM- Apparently from HMRC, demanding money and stating warrant issued for arrest, just hang up when you question their fake Police pin number.
fake compensation offer after road traffic accident. I think this is advanced fee fraud. They aren t a reputable outfit because they fail to terminate the call when subjected to ridicule and abuse - they respond in kind.

Constantly calling everyday, start of in the morning from between 08:00 and 08:30. I block the number and they call from another. Clearly haven t anything better to do except harass people.
Received call today ( 19/11/20). Phone siad "Potential Fraud" so did not answer it. Have had calls everyday for last few days from "020" numbers always saying either "Potential Fraud" or "Suspected Scam)!

Said the call was coming from Iceland and asked to take remote control of my phone, because he needed to send me just over £4,000. I declined as the number displayed was NOT Iceland.
Melissa called twice saying that they needed to check the insulation in our loft because we had it done under the government scheme (we didn't) and now the regs had changed and it needs to be checked.When I told her that I'd done it myself about 35 years ago and wasn't going to have anything else done, she said she'd alter the information on the database. Sounded like a genuine company though unfortunately I didn't get their name so can't report them for a cold call as I would usually.

Scam call, claiming to be from Amazon Prime. He said to confirm my identity he would send me a text, please read the code out to me. The code that came through was to reset my password. I hung up on him.

A Google search indicates that the number, if genuine, belongs to a national chain of clinics called Spa Medica.
Said they were BT. Lots of background noise so I challenged with "sounds very noisy for BT". Said that I used to be a BT customer and they wanted to offer me deals to welcome me back. I asked when their records indicated I was a BT customer (they didn t know). They asked about my package. I told them Virgin TV/phone/internet and they kept upping my speed of internet. They said "You re on fibre optic then?" I confirmed I was happy with Virgin so the call ended.
I keep getting missed calls from this number. No idea who it is...

On my Landine, 01238037258 called, an female american-ish, said they were from amazon prime and I should press "1" to talk to somebody. I just put the phone down. First nuisance call of that type for a while.

Not sure what replying STOP will actually do but I m not risking it, just delete the message and hope I don t get any more - this is the first spam text I ve had on a long-held number.
