SCAM This organisation is impersonating NCA (National Crime Agency). Scenario: Someone used my identity at the Wales border so they needed to check with me my personals details otherwise my NIN bank account etc will be freeze by them. Read out to me my name and address and when I confirmed these was going to pass me to her "supervisor" to complete a form. Asked her to tell me what brand of washing machine I've actually got. Unsurprisingly she hung up. Don't know what the scam was going to be but clearly there is one

Caller who sounded Indian said she was from the telephone preference service and calling to say it had expired as - she was just getting to this - the bank card used had expired. She first asked how the telephone bill was paid. As the service is free I rang off.
