i had a missed call dialled 1471 the number stored was 0161 643 6900 when i tried to call it back a voice said number not available!

Said they were from "RTA Legal" and said my details had been passed to them because of a recent road accident I was involved in (which I haven't been). Scam/cold-...

I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

Cold advertising. Very insistent and trying to take information about me as much as possible. Added to block list.

Trying to collect a 'parking fine' from a private car park

Scam. Some distant partner with EE. With trick you into a new contract which EE can t cancel. Avoid and block.

Asian sounding girl Called from Burnley something about cover for my TV, said TV covered with currys, she hung up.

I have received six calls from this number today about my computer, 17th June 2015, poor English, couldn t make out much of what he was saying. Each time I put the phone down he called me back, had to take it off the hook. He said there was something wrong with my router, very persistant.

Message saying £700+ taken from account and sent abroad. Press 1 if I d not authorised this. I was not born yesterday!!!

Answered the call and it was a civil servant helping me with my benefit payments. Perhaps others would rather not hear from the DWP(!) but if you re expecting a call as I was then it s probably best to accept it.

automated timewaster call saying that I have won such and such amount.

Its Loughborough University Medical Centre. They call to arrange an appointment for my daughter test s results.

Had a call saying they had been passed my file about a traffic accident I d had in the last two years. I said "ok". He said "is that right?". I said "you tell me mate. It just sounds like you re fishing". The guy must have known I was on to him. He laughed and hung on me.

Got a call this morning from a lady. I could hardly understand a word she was saying. Thick accent and slow sounding voice. I repeatedly apologised for not being able to understand and asked her to repeat herself. She hung up.

They just called me. They said they were from People s Obedience. I asked what that was about and they hung up.

Third time today (12/02/14) when I answered the phone, Silence, then they cut off the call.

I keep getting calls from this number which I never answer. I think that if you answer or reply to calls from these people they will know that the number is live, and not only will they keep hassling you, but they will also sell your number to other rogue companies.
