Something about his tone and wording instantly set off alarms that this was a cold sales call, as we receive hundreds of them and I ve grown used to the language they use. I asked who was calling. This is GE Money they have a new campaign where they use local numbers to try and catch people out who have not answered their calls.
As others have said spam caller, I would block it but they have a whole batch of numbers beginning 020389698** the last 2 digits change daily. My phone is registered on TPS but they still call so breaking the law doesn't bother them.I just reject all numbers that pop up from 0203 now

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439418xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
