Received a recorded message alledgedly from the National Crime Squad Agency advising that my National Insurance Number had been involved in fraudulent activities - press 1 to speak to an officer....... As it has come from a mobile number I doubt very much this is legit so will follow this up with the Gov website & correct channels.

I’ve experienced a very odd phone call this afternoon. Automated phone call as soon as I said “hello” the automated phone call started. “Your name has been used in a fraud claim, from the HMRC. A recorded call to my mobile informed me of my tax fraud and asked me to press 1 to speak to an HMRC officer. Failure to press 1 would result in an immediate issue of a warrant and my arrest today. The bot then hung up, didn't even say "Is there anything else I can help you with?" Rude little bot!
