Called today by someone claiming to be from HMRC (0141 2284991) regarding tax payment (they knew the details!) and claiming an arrest warrant / judicial court case if not paid today. Was passed to someone called Victoria, claiming to be from the NRA who later called back on a London number (0207 2382626). This is a scam. Do not pay anything and report to Action Fraud and HMRC. Needless to say when she called back about non payment and was challenged, she hung up!

Also on YELL.com the phone number appears to belong to Your Claim Lawyers 120 Bark St, Bolton, Lancashire, BL1 2AX.

Number unknown, which I usually ignore but as I m waiting for an overnight package I wondered if it was them calling re delivery, so I answered. It was a female caller with (what sounded like) a Chinese accent. She said she was calling on behalf of Telephone Preference Service. A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.
