I got called by this number earlier today. In my case even though it was unsolicited, it was a welcomed call from Carphone Warehouse. I had an issue with their website and the resolved it for me.

A call saying I may qualify for a free medi alert. Asked if over 50, did I need a walking stick and did I have health problems. When I answered no they put the phone down. Scam?

Number belongs to an employee from Retro Consulting AKA Unique Client Solutions, a dodgy marketing company based in Nottingham & Sheffield who post misleading job adverts which make it look like you could be going into a good sales job with a career path when in fact it s commission only with no minimum wage.

Had a missed call from this number, called back, dead number. The guy I m working with also got a call from this number a couple of days ago, how have they got hold of both our numbers as we have no connection apart from we are working at the same house at the moment, he also lives in Southampton so isn t even local and not on any local databases???

A debt collection company who collect debts on behalf of eBay. My fees have been paid once then I got an email saying it d been withdrawn and I still owed fees to the sum of £25. This company however claim I owe £50?! For selling a few dresses online are you kidding. Won t see penny one from me you slag.

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!). The caller didn t give her name even though I asked. She said she wanted to speak to Mrs (name not understood) when I asked her to repeat I still didn t know who she was asking for, but for sure not my name. I said she had a wrong number and she hung up.
