Recorded voice, say that they are from talktalk and they are going to cut off broadband. I have had many of these crap calls, sometimes multiple per day.

Keeps calling every day (often multiple times a day) and leaving silent voicemail messages which I have to pay to access. Have now sent this number to my reject list but expect more from a reputable company like the AA.

The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.

NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge on your bill.

this was vanquis bank trying to chase up my late payment of my credit card.
this is from a oompany called know how. it insures household electrical goods. i had said i would give them feedback after i called the 0800 number but i forgot that my phone ringer was switched off. so thet is what they were ringing me for. feedback about the call and service i was using.
Claimed to be Natwest, I refused to give out any details but called natwest instead to see if there was infact a problem with my account... There is not and this number is NOT NATWEST!!

I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Silent call, I think the scam is for you to call them back at inflated call costs to call the number. No one ever answers you after you pick up but you can hear that there is some one on the other end of the line as they initially say hello. Deffo a scam!!!
