Automated call said was hmrc press one to speak to officer warrant in my name if I didn’t I would be arrested
Called claiming to be the International Investigation of Crime claiming my National Insurance Number has been suspended. I have now block this number and been reported.
Getting several missed calls a week from this no. Starting to get v annoying. Called them back, its a telemarketing co appointed on behalf of charities and some government organisations. The message assured me it wasn t urgent and that they will try to call back.
Call from monitoring centre for emergency pendants and pull cords in sheltered housing etc
Called me today, knew my name. Started telling me that I was in debt and that they have a scheme blah blah blah, rambled on for ages and the finally asked if it was something I was interested in. To which I told him that I don't have any debt and it sounds like b*llsh*t to me. "so you have just wasted my time." was his comment and he hung up on me.

Calls me all the time, atleast once a day. I do not answer though.
Male with indian accent claiming to be from BT but I'm not with them for my Internet! I hung up. I often will not answer but it was showing a local dialing code. Is this a clever way to gain your confidence or was it genuine? I'm not willing to take the risk.
SCAM Pretends to be BT Internet, about to cancel phone line because of suspicious activity. Recorded message asks you to press a number to be connected to the scammer.

Said they were BT Internet & I had a problem with my router, I don’t have BT Internet
Automated message saying something about some suspicious activity in my name and wanted me to press 1 to connect to the officer concerned. It said I wouldn’t be able to use my national insurance number if I didn’t press 1 and talk to the officer. Didn’t mention my name if any details, and hung up after 30 seconds. Seems like a phishing scam.
Apparently Russia, Smolensk area ... obviously a scam. Probably of the 'ring back and get charged a lot' style. Rang off when I answered the phone.
