We are a small charity and the person dealing with HR not in & I explained I wasn't willing to pass details on unless they told me what their company actually wanted/did still just mumbled his own name & insisted he'd ring back. I just received a text from this number purporting to be from EE saying my payment has not been processed and linking to a page that looks like the EE page. But when I logged into myEE on my computer it says my account is paid by direct debit and is up to date. Be careful this could be a scam!

I dont know who called, i had a missed call. but when i called back minutes later it said number not in use. can numbers be spoofed as it seems this one was. reaks of a scam. no doubt to do with trading as i receive many trading calls.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 6066048xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with telemarketing call centre - ppi claims, RTA. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

She asked me to go to a website www.teamviewer.com. I said I didn t know her so would google this first, before going onto an unknown site. She hung up.
