Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code

Spam caller claiming to be from Vodafone (my mobile contract isn't with Vodafone), wanting my bank details so they could apply a discount to my contract. Very persistent - when I told them I didn't know my postcode they called back the following night. Even provided me with a (mobile!) number I could call to check that they really were Vodafone.
Probably scam. Call several times and if you answer it s a silent call.

Was called by this number and when answered it played a recording stating that it was Amazon wanting to know if I wanted to renew my Amazon Prime account. If I did, I should press "1". Call from 01314414605 Asian male saying he was from Virgin Media Technical Department and my internet speed was sending warning messages and not running correctly. Was asked to do a speed test and download an app. He was adamant he was from Virgin Media although he could not give any of my details to me. Needless to say I hung up. Called Virgin Media who did a test down the line which did not show up any problems.

Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call.
