The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.

Number rang but hung up about two seconds after I answered. Another one for the blocked list on my phone.

Answered the phone to a nice woman (didn t catch the name of the company she worked for) who started asking if my phone was working then asking what phone I d got, then she was said my insurance at the moment for it is 9.99 (its not it s 11.99) and that they was going to drop the insurance down to 5.99 and that the excess was going to go from 50 to 25 and other deals then she started asking for my address postcode and my name and then my sort code for my bank account which I then hung up the phone and she

I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. I recieved a call and as the gentleman above it appeared to be a prank call and ater a few seconds the call was ended by the "caller". Unknown caller as yet.

Claimed to be a company called "Jeffrey Mason" going on about monies owed to me - They had my correct name though pronounced it incorrectly. Told them to quickly tell me what the call was about as I was in Critical Care and needed to keep my phone line free (which is kind of true, my mother WAS in Critical Care but now on a general ward) before I could finish what I was saying they hung up
