Optical Express - they called as I had made an inquiry online about laser eye surgery but they rang 10 times over the space of a few days, didn t leave a message or text/email to say who they were. It really has put me off using them as I can imagine they will harass me if I do go for a consultation.

Suggest anyone who receives a call from this number blocks it. have had calls from this and similar numbers that have been aggressive 'bogus' PPI claim calls.
They say they are from BT then try to get you to believe you have a broadband fault and then get you logged on your computer to resolve the problem-yeah right!! If you call the number back it is just a ghost number.
Robotic voice first, then Indian voice Claiming a Visa Card has been misused, and starts asking for personal details, I refused and put the phone down. Called again early this morning, put phone down again. As the number does not match any relevant telephone numbers of our Bank, I Believe it is a SCAM call.

recorded message stating it is the National Crime Agency and that my National Insurance number has been fraudulently used and i need to press 1 immediately on my keypad! Blocked the number as this is second call on a different number i've had saying the same thing this week.

Recorded message claiming to be from my internet service provider saying that this service was about to be cut off unless I did something. I did nothing except hang up. No effect on my internet. Suspect I will now be charged for answering this call - need to check my next bill.
Caller claimed to be from Amazon about renewal of Prime Membership. Hurrah renewal price was much cheaper! Therefore not a very clever scam. Come on someone - shut them down!

SCAM supposed to be calling about the TPS which I use, told me they were upgrading my service so that I would never get another call from scammers etc, they had all my details which I find extremely worrying, after telling me how I would be upgraded, wanted the 16 number’s on my registered debit card, they slammed the phone down when I refused

The BeWise insurance company ignore tick boxes stating NO contact - they will contact you regardless. When you tell them to remove your details from their database, they still call the next year. The Ombudsman needs to investigate this company.
