SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.
They rang I missed the call no voicemail left. I'm guessing it's a scam beware and be safe.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from my Mobile Phone provider offering an upgrade. As I am on a PAYG tariff (satisfactory for my needs) I politely declined their offer and hung-up. If and when I want or need an upgrade I will decide which Company to approach.
Had a call from this number saying it was a hospital and I have to have a brain operation. Very scary they knew my name when I ask them to send details to my by email they put the phone down

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I’m a cautious type, but they fooled me
Part of a block-dialing network usually starting with 020 8058 xxxx, phone rings, if you answer call is hung up. No doubt part of a vile scammer outfit using auto-dialers - I get 020 8058 calls a couple of times a month.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO

This number called me claiming someone had used a visa card in my name for a £900.00 purchase. They then asked for bank details, passwords etc, I don't have a visa card, this is most definitely an attempt to access my bank account in a criminal way for criminal purposes.

The number was in an email which said it was from a friend (who I've not been in contact with for years) , asking for "help", but it was very much like another email I had just received from someone else saying he was a friend but that was spam. SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.
