I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

Despite UK no. this was a call from overseas. Caller claimed to be from "UK Refunds" & called himself James - strong South Asian accent. After bank account details.
When I answered I heard an automated message saying none of their agents were available to talk to me and it wasn't important! Why phone then???

iv had txts n calls from this number claiming to be B&Q, dont know where they got my number from, i never answer the phone to these scams!!
No one answered when I picked up, possibly a scam call.
Some with a thick scandanavian accent called, something about a loft insulation survey to do with Health & Safety. He was very persistent and after 4/5 times of telling him that I wasn't interested and that Health & Safety was part of my job, he hung up!

This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. Had a call from 07894865338 from someone asking for me by name and claiming to be from the Citizens Advice. I thought he was saying he had been contacted because I had reported a dead person, I asked him to repeat it, which he did. His accent was very thick and from seeing this site I think he was trying to say I had reported a debt problem !!! He hung anyway...
