Automated call to start, saying that my subscription to Amazon will auto renew at £79, and to press 1 to talk to someone about cancelling, I don't pay subscription for Amazon, I was told that it was £79 a month and that I needed to get a cancellation code and fill out a form to cancel!!! I hung up.

Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!). Reports on other "nuisance call" sites confirm this firm is best avoided.
