Gentleman had the wrong name and was talking about my existing life insurance policy asked him to remove my number was told this isn t a sales a call its a review of my life insurance policy they did not work for my policy holder as they know to contact me on a different number and normal communication is via email but the simple fact is they are working of old information using my wifes maiden name for my surname really clever

Called but left no message in response to my "this number blocks withheld and unrecognised numbers" message, but it is clear from the numerous other reports that it is a standard Indian "Your commputer is infected" criminal fraudster. What surprises me is that many people do not seem to realise that the number displayed is spoofed and that the call actually comes from an Indian criminals call centre. Been receiving calls from this number at least once a day for a couple of weeks now, only rings once or twice then most times when you answer it hangs up! One occasion I did answer and the Liverpudlian lady at the other end was extremely rude and actually said to me "I don t know who you think you re talking to" when I said I wasn t answering her questions about a car accident!

Very persistent insurance salespeople - have rung literally dozens of times in the past 3 weeks. GO AWAY, TOWERGATE.
