Not sure tried to call it back and its saying they are but I did call the acutal British Passport office and they have told me that this number is FRAUD! so do not give any information of yours! to 02038597401 this is a fraudulent number. They called me saying they are from a company called “blockchain” obviously a scam
Call centre calling on behalf on UK for UNHCR (I think the company/call centre itself was called something like Angel Charity Services). They were following up on a one-off donation to see if I would set up a direct debit for a regular donation. (The call operator had my details and those of my prior donation.) It seems that Angel itself is paid for by UNHCR as part of a donations drive.
A fraudster by the name of Tomas Lang is using this phone number using recovery room fraud tactics. The victim he contacted and trying to obtain money from was a victim of a fraud losing a significant amount of money.
