Seemed unaware that my bank has no connection with Norway where the call seemed to have been placed from; also couldn't provide the account number he was calling about or even the Bank he was calling from.

This was a member of the legal team from Arnold Clark calling me about the claim I had made to court against them. I think the number is the general Head Office one though - so no need to worry.
Had a missed call from this number today - called themselves Reactive Homes and were selling Home Insurance, totally out of the blue and did not request. Easily combated this by saying I was moving shortly and they soon got off the line, just irritating!

Just spend an hour on the call with them about HMRC fraud against my name. Fraudsters get more and more convincing... 'Legal adviser' transferred me to another number which was looked like a legitimate number of The Royal Courts Of Justice (02079477772). That was fun to talk to them. I even call them back asking for address, so I can come over to them (after lockdown ends) and deliver money in a suitcases. For some reason they hanged up...
