Rang off before I could get downstairs to answer the call. Discovered the number by using 1471. Assumed ot to be a scam call

3 calls from this number in the last 3 days on my mobile while I was in france. No one speaks when answered. Bloody nuisance I have to pay to recieve calls when in France.

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

Has phoned me 3 times in last week. Asian male asks for me by name then when asked who they are and what do they want they hang up. Have threatened to call police if they continue with suspicious calls. I was getting quite upset with the hang ups. Have no idea why they keep calling and not identifying themselves. Idiots
