Missed this call rang the number back and it came up invalid number

This number called bu hung up when I answered.

Automated, claimed to be BT, stated phone and internet would be cut off this afternoon unless call responded to by pressing 1.

I am 77 waiting for an operation, the rang line rang at about 1600hrs today, but by the time I got to it, it had gone to answer phone, they hung up. I did a 1471 to find out ...

On Sunday during lockdown my relative received a call from this number and a person asked about loan I.e. not not paid etc. He said that he is an employee of Punjab National Bank. Call from Bank on Sunday?

Numerous calls from this number to my mobile, on the one time I answered they were rude & wanted to talk about an accident I have never had! Have now blocked and reported to UK police for criminal investigation and trace to identify and speak to company directors.

If they need to speak to you why dont they leave a message with there name and what it is about ?

Called to say I had orderd a new sim card, told him I hadn t, he said he was from O2, and that they could save me money, told him that I had the best tariff, He had an irish accent, and then OK and hung up. Dont think this is o2.

male caller quoted guessed personal information and insisted I had agreed to some sort of "Cash back" sheme, having discussed it at my door 2 months ago - wanted to confirm my postcode etc. When I denied ever speaking or agreeing to this he hung up on me mid conversation

Very rude woman called. Initially all polite "I m calling from "Eco" - (something I could not hear) - "how are you today"? When I said suspicious of calls like this, she turned nasty - "you re not much of a man if you are scared of a cold call". Beware. Probably scammers.

Same as listed by Jeff - This is a rather unpleasant call from an American sounding woman purporting to be from Inland Revenue. Saying you must call us or expect consequences

"Kirsty" from "company-name-deliberately-said-too-quickly". Said she had been informed that I d been in a car accident that wasn t my fault. As soon as I said "No!", she hung up. Should have had a little fun first. Nevermind. BLOCKED.

I ignore all calls coming into my landline number until the caller speaks. If no one speaks within a few seconds, I assume that I ve been called by an autodialler which is activated by the sound of my voice, and because I ve remained silent.... nothing happens, or I hang up. I then dial 1471 for the number and Google it. I never call any numbers they ve left for me to call. If they are too lazy to make any effort to contact me themselves.... then their call can t be that important!
