indian guy called today saying he was windows support, said my dad is the registered user of windows, (my dad has never used a pc in his life, had dementia and now is dead) when told to the so called windows guy, he just kept reading from the script, do not give any info to them, its a scam and they will do anything to get your money.
Called 4 times today, did the whole reciting my details trick (easily obtainable by googling my office phone number) apparently offering better electricity rates. Told them I wasn t interested on all 4 occasions yet they kept calling back to ask who was providing my electric. Very insistent on getting my electricity providers name to the point it was suspicious that they wanted it so much.

British Gas. calling me for months. First from Manchester. Got apology. then it starts again. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BRITISH GAS. SCAM Automated message telling me it was HMRC and there was a fraud case against me, that I must press 1 immediately otherwise I would be arrested shortly. I assume pressing 1 would have taken me through to a high charge phone number or something similar. Very unsettling, and could easily catch the less savvy off guard.

Tax fraud scam where they threaten you with arrest if you don’t pay up.
So far have had four calls from this number. The first call was asked to answer a few questions for a poll. Told him I did not do surveys and he put the phone down. Second and third calls were male who put the phone down when told I do not do surveys and please do not call again. Fourth call was female. I told her she was the fourth caller in two days, please take me off their list and don t call again. The call was immediately terminated. Am now waiting to see if there are any more calls.
