Gentleman had the wrong name and was talking about my existing life insurance policy asked him to remove my number was told this isn t a sales a call its a review of my life insurance policy they did not work for my policy holder as they know to contact me on a different number and normal communication is via email but the simple fact is they are working of old information using my wifes maiden name for my surname really clever

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Automated call from national crime agency. Are going to suspend my national insurance number due to criminal activity, unless I speak to them now, that when I hung up and blocked.
message begins "Barclays, Lloyds, TSB...". I have reported it to the Information Commissioners Office (IC0) at ico.org.cuk. I personally believe that these people should not be permitted to have these numbers unless they reveal their identity. Anyone who accepts goods or services from an unnamed company that cold calls them has got to be daft!

Its a nasty insurance scam company called Apex trying to make false claims . Dont answer your phone to them.
claim I completed an online survey (I haven t) trying to get me to sign up for PPI or accident claims and compensation, told them I m not interested and on TPS register. Requested them to remove me from their calling list (doubt they will as they are VERY persistant)
Recorded message saying it was the National Crime Agency about suspending my NI number as it had been involved in suspicous activity - I then hung up as I had heard enough

A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.
