SCAM Saying they are calling from virgin media, about our slow Internet router. They will proceed to ask you to download a software on your pc and then steal any banking details and passwords. We end up having 10 of these calls a day, it's so frustrating. I end up laughing and saying some choice words or going along pretending I'm doing what they are asking. When I say I'm not with virgin media they switch and say they are an it department for all Internet providers. Do not fall for this!!!

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. 01592 675873 called today, missed the call. When i tried to call it back, number was unavailable. Looks like a VoIP number used by scammers, this is their usual trait when trying to call the number back as it's only set to allow dialling out not calling back.

Scammers.. A recording saying that your national insurance number has been compromised. I keep getting calls on my work mobile which I only ever use for work and it is in no way linked to me personally. Definitely a scam, as I have read about people getting these calls. Be wary!

Insulation I answered the call on third time of receiving a call on this number. Asian guy asking for my details to determine if I qualify for a grant for lift insulation. As this was a completely cold call I told him to remove my details from his list of contacts and to not call me again (yeah, right, like that’s going to happen!). I then hung up.
