I ve always had a very succinct answer to these types of calls. I do answer them, but when I actually start speaking to an op, I either spout copious amounts of four letter words or speak back to them in whatever accent they have, telling them I can t understand them and can they please speak English

Called regarding an enquiry I?d made around PPIs and refunds etc. Seemed like nice people.

Claimed to be Natwest, I refused to give out any details but called natwest instead to see if there was infact a problem with my account... There is not and this number is NOT NATWEST!!

NEVER call an unknown number back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will cause a large charge to be added to your bill.

You won t get a response on here Matilda - and that isn t a phone number.

Very suspicious callers. Claiming to be a Pensions firm asking for personal details including even your Nat Ins number which I did not divulge to them. Their response was to say "we cannot proceed any further without this". They do have English accents. My suspicions are confirmed when I try to call back on this number - phone just goes dead. If these people are not scammers - they do a very good impression of scammers.
