SCAM / SPAM Called me as an insurance company, and told me they were told I was involved in a car accident and they would like to get my details. The problem is that I don't have a car, and I am not driving xD When I told her that, she was very adamant that she needs to get my details because I was in a car accident. Be careful with them.

SCAM. Answered the call silent at first and then a malle answered started to introduce himself, then when I questioned where he had the number from as I was putting a trace on it, he hung up. Got a phone call an hour later from a similar number 01642278881 this time a foreign woman who stated to speak then hung up. I think they try and assess the age of the recipient of the call and if they sound old they continue with their call with a view to completing the scam.
Recorded voice, say that they are from talktalk and they are going to cut off broadband. I have had many of these crap calls, sometimes multiple per day.

SCAM Automated message telling me it was HMRC and there was a fraud case against me, that I must press 1 immediately otherwise I would be arrested shortly. I assume pressing 1 would have taken me through to a high charge phone number or something similar. Very unsettling, and could easily catch the less savvy off guard.
