Suspicious call claiming to be from Virgin Media regarding my internet. Line quality was terrible & the agents accent was really thick, so very hard to understand her. Wanted me to download something, hung up. Confirmed with Virgin Media that no issues with my internet & this was a scam.
I recieved a call and as the gentleman above it appeared to be a prank call and ater a few seconds the call was ended by the "caller". Unknown caller as yet.

This number is for a company called Payday UK. I had a loan with them once and ever since they bombard you with calls and txts and no matter how many times you reply saying STOP they take no notice what so ever!!
Scam indian/pakistani/bangladeshi caller pretending to sell electricity and gas. They don't know a lot about either so they are just gathering details in the hope of profiling you. Several calls today, i managed to make one last 37 mins whilst i did other things. That is 37 other calls they couldn't make. RESULT

Apparently from BT advising there were "irregurlarities" on my network and that they would disconnect me unless I pressed "1" for instructions. Almost certainly a scam so I declined the invitation.

Over the past two or three years I have told them several times not to call me, and to delete my details from their database. They state that they will and it will take a few weeks. My definition of a few weeks is roughly around a month. Their definition is obviously a lot longer - I left them about three years ago, and they still insist on calling me and sending me junk mail. SCAM Claim to be from BT Openreach with issues on the line. Asked for details of how connected to internet and then wanted to “fix the issue” When I asked who my ISP was and what company they worked for, he hung up.
