Picked up the phone and it was silent so I ended the call. A little later the same number called again and I let it go to answer phone and no message was left.

Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! It is High time BT themselves did something about this type of call as it has been going on for a very long time.Do not be fooled, it is a SCAM which potentially will relieve you of large amounts of your money!!

Call centre, Indian woman from Virgin media, said someone was using our internet conection without our permission, wanted to know how mony lights were showing on router.

Call saying that I had been involved in car accident that wasn't my fault in the last 2/3 years. Haven't had an accident for over 5 years.

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I am surprised nobody else has clicked on to this yet......Doesn t sound too dodgy to me. Obviously Adrian has opted for no marketing calls from Carphone Warehouse themselves. I have had 6+ calls from this number to my mobile, some dropping out immediately, but they appear to be pursuing hearing loss claims. I have asked for my number to be removed on several occisions, but so far with no apparent success.

Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn t my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn t had an accident, she hung up on me.

This number is logged as being an international number - yet has a Uk format. When dialling the number it is stated that 'you have dialled an incorrect number'. Seems ...

This number has called me at least once,but as many as four times, each day this week. I only answered the first two as it was a survey or the automated Goodbye .

Called on Sat.19/9. Said it would take 2 mins. to do a survey. I agreed, but after c.6 mins. I told the Far Eastern-sounding man that his time was up and put the phone down. They then phoned back in ten mins and 1 hour later, but I didn t answer the phone. Accomplished liars irritants and time-wasters.

Called me on 29th June claiming to be O2. Told them I wasn t interested. Received a further call on 1st July.

Spam call

A few minutes after my last nuisance call, which was from the Talk Talk impersonators, I got this one - from the p.p.i. pests using a number they had not used for me before. Only a couple of days ago their recorded message was saying it was their final attempt to contact me, but telling lies is habitual for them. I estimate I have had a hundred calls from these people. I look forward to the day they are prosecuted. They are making money out of people s naivety so I hope they get fined heavily.

Recorded message claiming to be hard told to press 1 didn't of course evidently a scam beware!!
