THE GUY CALLED ASKING TO BE TRANSFERRED IN THE EXTERNAL PHONE NUMBER: 09071267755, SAYING HIS PHONE ON THE ROOM WAS NOT WORKING SO I TRANSFERED HIM ONCE, WE CHECKED THE PHONES AND EVERYTHING WAS WORKING SO WE DIDNT TRANSFERRED HIM AGAIN . SCAM Cold caller, pretending to be working on behalf of Microsoft advising me that I am being targeted by hackers. Goes through a spiel involving talking me through looking at the 'event viewer' utility on my PC and asking me to note the number 'Administrative events' with warnings listed in the viewer. This he advisies means that I am under attack - (BTW it does not). The tries to talk me into downloading 'anydesk' - I did not because it would allow access to my PC.

This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!
