SUPER RUDE human being - and I use the term loosely. Has been rude, aggressive, and generally made a twit of himself to most of my colleagues. Apparently he is calling back tomorrow "before time runs out" on whatever it is he won t tell me about. This call was from EE broadband. I had been on the website and the day later they gave me a call. They couldnt leave a note on the account as i wasnt a customer with them currently. but they directed me to the official ee website where it showed me the numbers that are associated with EE and it was there. I even called the number back and it said we was called today by EE. They also sent me a text from EE also to put me at ease. Really helpful Hull staff and answered all the questions i had about joining. N

Scammers!!!! They called my grandmother regarding a PPI claim, telling her in order to claim she would need to put £400 on a travel card (this was their agency 'commission' apparently), and they would come to her home (beware, they already knew her address) to exchange the travel card for her "PPI compensation cheque". Thankfully we've taught her well and she called me first to ask if I thought it was a scam.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers, phishing for bank account details). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08437242xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs f
