Asked for me by name on a business line which is CPR listed so legally should not receive any unsolicited sales or marketing calls. They introduced themselves as "Crime Prevention Officers" looking into recent spate of burglaries in area and gave the impression they were connected to the police if not actually officers. Ignored. Interesting point about raised by people on here about Gumtree being connected with how these companies get your number. I too have advertised on Gumtree and receive a lot of nuisance calls from the Greater Manchester area.
