It s an unknown number that keeps calling but when you press 5 you get through to someone identifying themselves as being from The Money Team. This time the guy was George. I told him what he was doing was illegal..he just laughed and hung up. Now my question is this... Money Team has been doing this for a long time, and have been reported numerous times. When are the enforcement agencies actually going to do something meaningful about it?

Have now been Called over 17 times, sometimes twice daily by supposed ACM on the following numbers 01619743531 01924928072 02036870287 01619743443, 02036870287, 02037387300, 0203687029, 02036870292 I have reported to ICO, however after googling I feel this is a scam or illicit company as there is no online trace. the most recent time I was called I stated I had reported to ICO and feel harassed I was told to calm down and the operater became aggressive. Claimed to be Amazon, saying I’d bought a gift card for £49.99 and they wanted to check this was correct, and if it wasn’t did I want to cancel the order. I said it wasn’t me and I’d like to cancel (but was already suspicious - who buys a gift card for £49.99, rather than £50?!), then they started asking about which device I’d like the refund processed via. When I asked more questions about my concerns that this was a scam call they hung up.

The genuine holder is a Sainsbury s supermarket in Barnet, North London, according to Google.

My Husband answered they said they were from Direct Line? - then hung up!!! I rang Direct Line - they have record of making to a call to me!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM - do not trust this number or any other numbers you don t recoginse after receiveing a call from this number.
