Unrecognised number from an area I absolutely have no contact with - consequently I did not answer and this has gone to ansaphone but no message left twice - strongly suspect spam
Nuisance call from someone suggesting that the warranty on my 16 year old washing machine has expired and needs to be renewed. Phishing for people to pay for a warranty on a washing machine purchased in 2006 is a scam to steal money from unwary recipients.

I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. As usual with these calls I was asked to press different number. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. to find nothing had been taken.

please be aware of this spam. They said I had ordered a removal van and were calling to arrange one for me. It ties into several hoax calls I received last week as all the callers were sub Asians.
SCAM had a text saying apparently my Santander card was being used in Argos and to text N if it is not me. The problem is that I do not have any dealings with Santander

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. I believe it was a scam call, warning me of a tax investigation.
SCAM allegedly I have a bitcoin wallet in my name with fraudulent activity!!!! Clearly a scam. Rude when I said it wasn’t convenient to go on my computer or phone.
