A call from Carphone warehouse, using a LOCAL code - ie - 01324 trying to deceive you into thinking it s a local call. You answer, and it s OBVIOUSLY a CALL Centre (by all the noise in the background) and on questioning the guy, is clearly NOT in the Falkirk area. This type of local call is being used more and more.

DON’T ring these numbers back or you may get caught for a huge phone charge.

Silent call, not answering despite picking up receiver

Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. I was getting calls from this number daily. I blocked it and then started getting calls from 0121 389 0867. This is blocked and suspect it ll switch to another very similar number. Just keep blocking.

This number has called me 4 times during the day today at 2 hour (and less) intervals. The same happened yesterday. I answered the first call and it appeared to be about loans. I haven t answered their subsequent calls which has done nothing to lessen, or maybe just intensified their aggressive calling policy. There s nothing reputable about a company that acts in this way.
