I can only assume from other comments that these annoying calls are from Ideal World as I am awaiting an order from them. Ironically while on this website I am getting popups from them regarding the same product I ordered! Yet another number to block.

They rang several times, when I answered it there was some background noise, but no-one speaks, then they cut it off.

Tried calling them back, went through to someone who obviously wasn't expecting calls in to them, sounded like a call centre. They hung up and didn't talk to me.

Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. I've had many calls of this sort, sometimes several in one day. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they hang up. I am on a call preference service but they still get through....
