SCAM Indian woman called re broadband speed and insisted I checked my broadband speed NOW told her wasn't been told what to do by her. Kept her talking for 4/5 minuites before she hang up. At least stopped her scamming someone else for a little time.

They knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Fairly obvious that they are identifying opportunities for onward selling. SCAM / SPAM - Answered the call and got a ringing tone as if I had made the call. Someone with Northern accent asked me about Life Insurance, but I think it was pre-recorded. I responded, but didn't get an answer. Then it occured to me that, due to the ringing tone, they might somehow have engineered a way for me to be paying for the call so I hung up and blocked the number.
