This is a computer scam. I played along in order to waste their time and to get insight into their methods. There is a warm-up act and a main act to follow. Their first tactic is to say they will cut off your computer unless you cooperate. They take you to Event Viewer administrative events in order to show you a scary page with yellow warning triangles and red error messages. Then to another caller for their main strike. SCAM - running a text-based scam asking you to log into Paypal and update your identity or your account will be blocked.
Just been contacted by this number,claimed to be from(cooperative energy)asking for an up to date reading of my meters.I normally supply them online at the beginning of the month(which is only 2 days away) I gave them the readings and then they asked if they were located inside or outdoors.They also asked if they were accessible to an engineer should they need to call???????? This has all the makings of a SCAM.I have notified my energy provider regarding this matter

SCAM this male 'Jack' calling from Virgin Media stated he had error messages from my Internet. When I said I had no Internet he sais he wanted to have set with me. I told him I was 89 and he asked me to blow him a kiss! He asked again for sex.

Best advice I can give is BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK the muppets. They disputed my PPI Claim as they offer Repayment Option, only changed the name in 2008 so got company sorting it now. Had my card 11 years so know I m owed thousands & Im not payin em a penny more till sorted. My hubby paid approx 680 over 7 years on his natwest & got ?2,196 back. It s worth checking everyone, we couldn t believe it as his limit was only ?800 & a business card. Good luck & keep blocking...
