This is a PPI scam. Best to listen politely and show interest before requesting that they ring you back on another number. Then give them the number of another known scammer and they should keep one another amused for a while. Suggested numbers of known scammers:- 01935 350190 and 01379 844163. Both these numbers have repeatedly rung me recently.

Has called twice today when answered they just hang up.

got three missed (ignored) calls from the following number, all relating to this one company, and had I had a car accident in the last three years... phone numbers are 0130339...

Female caller, Indian accent, gave name something like Mindy, claimed to be from Talk Talk. Obviously long delays between exchanges, nothing like usual UK call quality.

Automated voice trying to sound real. Said I d been in a car crash. Hung up at that point. Don t be fooled!

Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules. foreign voice, 12:30am. did not appreciate.

Got a call and the guy said he was from MTN asking if I did a sim swap today. I said no! He said I would receive an OTP with this no 573343. He said I will get another message with a different pin, I must give it to him. I got it and it stated: Do not give this pin to anyone. When he called back, I said I cannot give this pin to you. Who are you? Then he was off the line. I tried to call the no and it was just dead. I blocked it.

Called to tell me my PC was malfunctioning told him he was a con man.

If anybody gets a call from this number, answer it! Each time they have called it has been Coral and they have given me a £50 free bet each time.
