Caller was silent as soon as I answered the phone. I receive up to 5 of these a day since a motor insurance claim.
Got a phone call saying I've won a makeover and they named a friend of mine. They said I'd had a text in 2015 about it... it's 2017. Bit of a late follow up call..

SCAM Received a text from this number claiming a new payee was set up on an HSBC account and if I want to cancel it to click on the supplied link. I received an identical text from a different number about a week ago, they are scams.
They claim to beable to claim money back from PPI on loans etc when i asked who gave them my number they said C P Network did
I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Fraud Telephoned 04/12/20. I gave no name when answering and they did not ask who I was. Young lady immediately started with "I understand that you have been in an accident which was not your fault". I have not had an accident and any reputable company would have identified who they were dealing with as a priority. Shut her down immediately and barred number.
