I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. When I don t recognise an incoming call, I now dont speak....and then I find that if it s a dodgy call the caller hangs up, also without speaking. This happened with this number this morning.
No1 is on the other end when I ve decided to answer this unknown number. I call this harassment, im not needed, spoken to and neither do I want to be called repeatedly throughout the day for months now with absolutely no idea what these calls are about or for.
